PHYS 1412: Misc

As I type up Chapter 20 responses I realize that I probably answered some lab questions wrong because I didn't watch the movie. I didn't watch the movie because ever since upgrading my Quicktime a day or two ago I no longer seem to be able to play embedded .mov files in IE. Meanwhile, the lab CD doesn't work with Netscape. I tried to open the file directly but that for some reason caused all of my IE windows to close except the one with my lab answers. WHEW. But when I submitted my lab answers a few minutes later, having given technically accurate but apparently not-what-they-were-going-for replies to the two movie-related questions, my connection was lost and I couldn't go anywhere. No web, no email, etc. And I couldn't go back in the form that didn't even properly submit.

So there was enough annoyance and trepidation on hand to keep me from solving the problem at that time. From now on I'll do the movie extras in Netscape before beginning anything. Yes, I am irritated with myself for missing what would have been the two easiest questions (just repeat whatever the movie said), but not enough to wish I could turn back time or anything.
