I didn't hate it. Reese Witherspoon is still winsome. Candice Bergen is still Candice Bergen. Josh Lucas is still not Matthew McConaughey, but who can tell?

This is the thing about record-keeping blogs. You feel obliged to comment in addition to marking, but this is one of those romantic summer comedies that was constructed exclusively for date nights. There's nothing to say. I realize it is autumn, but that's hardly my fault.

Good grief, I didn't recognize Ethan Embry from Vegas Vacation. Someone has been spiffing up his IMDB bio since last I looked. Hm. He still has that certain "slight spaces between words" pattern to his speech. That's not a criticism.

I'm bummed that my happy MBFGW entry gets replaced by this fluff, dog cemetery sniffles notwithstanding, but then again, what comes next is perhaps worse, or not much better...
