Or even: finding one by a well-known poet who is not Dylan Thomas.
Here's EAR's: ("Villanelle of Change")
I'm too tired and busy to write a villanelle right now. ("What?!" you cry - "There is always room for humiliation!") I like the form, though, and the possibilities of teaching it are interesting. I'm visualizing one of those "spot the scheme" discovery-type lesson plans.
I'm not even sure how to note it. ABA ABA ABA ABA ABA ABAA, obviously, but how do you indicate the roles of the first two As and/or what's special about every final A thereafter?
