Churn the Midwife
I never think about the coloured filters used by astro-types for legitimate scientific purposes, the filters that make the smudgy greys of deep space photography so stunning. In my mind (where surely whole galaxies have been known to collide and politely exchange neural numbers), if I had a very tall ladder and a very keen squint then I'd witness such wonders without any help from the rose-coloured glasses.
