The Other Side of the Story
I'm determined to read all of Marian Keyes. It's like a bucket of extra crispy chick lit and I'm the insatiable glut hiding it under her coat.

The Other Side of the Story is good for me who like multiple narrators and sometimes not-so-linear chronology, but it's bad for people like me who don't really care for books where none of the characters are likeable and you just want to smack them on the face and should, "open your eyes, woman."

I'm not saying their blindness was selective in a way that's clearly designed to move the plot forward. It wasn't as bad as that. I just... well, I didn't care about these people. And all of the information about getting a book published felt like the author was working through some of her own issues.

But! Marian Keyes is smart and sassy, and that's why I'm reading Angels now. I know I should try one of her more popular books, since I seem to like those better, but I can only work with what the library gives me. And the library (or rather, one of its patrons) has so far failed to yield Maeve Binchy's latest, so this is where I'm getting my XX Hibernian fix.
