dear in our hearts forever
LAS VEGAS, NV -- It is with great sadness we wish to announce the passing of Minerva at approximately 8:30 p.m. this evening. After a brief snack of broccoli and a sip of water, he went into the Albus Ball and settled into sleep, bringing his two years and nearly nine months of extraordinary living on this earth to a gentle close.
Minerva is preceded in death by his affectionate wife, Cordelia, with whom he had five speckled children, including the well-known Snug and Snout, who in turn blessed them with four much-welcomed grandchildren, Cobweb, Prospero, Mazrim, and Snowpea. Hamily was important to Minerva, and his riches in this area brought him great pleasure.
It is our hope that Minerva will be remembered not only for his conscientous role as patriarch over the dwarven community, but as a vibrant, forthright hamster who was frequently noted for his sand rolling, his Milkbone dragging, his sunflower seed shucking, and his love of wheeling that stayed with him even into his elder years.
We will miss and love our beautiful normal hamster, our first dwarf hamster, always.
