We were recently back at Guadalajara (meal: $5 for two, including tax, no soft drinks - woot!) and I remembered that I still hadn't posted the video from our last trip. Guadalajara lacks the innovation of Viva Mercado, the fluffy-feather chips of Amigo's, and the occasional smart casual atmosphere (depending on where you're sitting) and better bean dip and presentation of Cabo's, but it does one thing extraordinarily well: the salsa bar.
Oh, yum.
We each always pick up about four different salsas (Mike's a rojo man, whereas I hit the greens and the gallos) plus I load up on chopped white onions and cilantro. (All of which is dimissed by Mike in video with an actual wave of the hand, take note. Well, honestly.) I love raw onions, and dumping a fistful of raw onions (and cilantro! oh the cilantro! sorry Heather!) over my cheese enchiladas is just... mmm... mmmm... (amuse yourselves a moment while I bask).
Check it out, it's twice as long as the others, the salsa is so good!

Gah, raw onions. AND cilantro. Oh, dearie me. I forgive you, but.... blargh!
